Gelatamp forte is a 100% purified gelatin sponge of swine origin, for a faster hemostasis during a surgical treatment. It is especially recommended for patients taking anticoagulant medication. There is a noticeable difference compared to the current gelatin sponges with respect to their ability to absorb fluids and induce hemostasis.
