In order to achieve optimal color adaptation to natural dental substance, various types of ceramics are available, such as glass, zirconia, and feldspathic ceramics. These materials are used for crowns (temporary), as well as for inlays and onlays, and can be polished intensively to achieve exceptional aesthetics. However, dentists face challenges when adjusting occlusion with these highly polished materials, which are often produced using CAD/CAM technologies, as traditional occlusion testing materials tend to be ineffective. To effectively identify premature contacts, we have thoroughly addressed this issue and opted for the established color GREEN, which has been used for decades in dental techniques. This color offers the decisive advantage of being clearly visible and rich in contrast on the aesthetically polished surfaces of these ceramics, thanks to special color pigments. Our Arti-Ceram product is available in two thicknesses, 200 µm and 100 µm, in strips and in horseshoe form, allowing for precise occlusion adjustment to ensure the best possible function and aesthetics.
